ICU Nurse
Job Overview

- Shift: Night, 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Hours per week: 48 preferred
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Start timeframe: Within the next 3–5 weeks
- Unit coverage: ICU, with possible floating to progressive care and medical-surgical units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Med Surg experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
Additional Notes
- May consider 36/48 alternating schedule
- PALS is required for longer-term ICU assignments and may be obtained within 1 year
- TNCC is required for ER and may be obtained within 1 year for longer-term ICU assignments
- NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM, ENPC, and other listed certifications are required only if applicable to the assignment
- Pass/fail testing is completed during orientation
- Candidate must complete required pre-start forms and health documentation before start
