Speech-Language Pathologist, Acute Care Hospital
Job Overview
- Travel/contract position in Midland, Texas
- 20-week assignment
- Day shift, 5x8 hours
- 40 hours per week
- Preferred start: mid-October
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Texas
- Speech Language Pathologist (2 years of experience)
- Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Bachelor's degree in speech language pathology or Master's degree in speech language pathology or Doctoral degree in speech language pathology
Schedule Requirements
- Weekend availability required
- On-call availability required
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop goals and treatment plans
- Administer speech therapy treatments and modalities
- Document treatment accurately and on time
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare workers
- Follow hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
