Description
SICU RN Travel Contract
Schedule
- Day shift
- Every Saturday
- Every Sunday
- One additional day each week
- 36 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- SICU - Surgical Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Preferred Experience
- Surgical ICU experience
- Trauma ICU experience
- Burn ICU experience
- Transplant ICU experience
Additional Requirements
- Must complete a unit-specific competency exam
- Must complete a dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam within 1 year of start and annually thereafter
- Must complete a medication test/pharmacology competency exam before start
- Must complete an emergency contact form
- Must complete a background check and fingerprinting
- Must complete a physical exam
- Must complete a negative TB test or chest x-ray
- Must complete drug screening
- Must provide 2 professional references
- Must provide an employment application
- Must provide a skills checklist
Notes
- Parking is available for travelers at multiple monthly permit options
- Epic is used for documentation
- Pyxis, Accudose, and Omnicell are used for medication systems
- SBAR is used for communication
