CVICU RN Travel Contract

Location

• Cleveland, Ohio

Schedule

• Rotating day/night 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Must work at least every other holiday

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• CVICU experience within the last year
• 1 year of CVICU experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS certification

Additional Hiring Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check
• Fingerprinting completed within 48 hours of signed contract
• Education verification
• Primary source license verification within 30 days of start
• Nursys verification within 30 days of start
• ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation with passing scores required
• 2 references from recent employment in the last year, from a manager, ANM, supervisor, charge nurse, or director
• Employment application must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years in acute care and a similar area
• Annual skills checklist
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask clearance within 12 months of start
• Tdap vaccination or approved exemption
• TB screening or chest X-ray, depending on history
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity or vaccination documentation
• Drug screen within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption
• Eye exam within 1 year of start

Notes

• Shift times may vary based on hospital operational needs
• Facility will try to honor preferred shift but may rotate as needed
• Candidate must complete onboarding modules before start
• Candidate must be able to start with some pending items only where explicitly allowed by the facility requirements
