Dietitian

Role Overview

Dietitian position within Dietary Services
Adult and geriatric patient population
Average daily census: approximately 10–12 patients
Travel/Contract assignment
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
40 hours per week
Contract length: 14 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist license in Maryland
RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (1 year of experience)
RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist experience within the last year
Experience with Cerner

Preferred Qualifications

Short-term acute care experience
Teaching hospital experience
Community hospital experience
LTAC experience
Level I or Level II trauma experience

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Weekend coverage is negotiable
Local candidates are accepted
No float requirement is indicated
No block scheduling option is indicated
Up to 2 pre-approved time-off requests are permitted per contract
14 days or less of time off is auto-approved
Every other winter and summer holiday are required, with no time off approved
No time off is approved on hard-to-fill days such as Easter, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day
Purple scrubs are required

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
