NICU RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Livingston, New Jersey
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–8:00
36 hours per week
Every other weekend required
Holiday requirement: work 2 of 3 holidays
Auto offer
First-time travelers accepted
Scrub color: Navy pants, Peds top

Unit / Float Scope

Based in NICU Level III / Float Pool
Floats to PICU, PEDS, and Mother/Baby
Will also float to PEDS/NBN if needed
Will not be assigned to care for moms

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1.5 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Pediatrics experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred

Additional Notes

Patient assignment will be based on skill set
Patient ratios vary based on acuity
EPIC charting system

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
