Cath Lab RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Harvey, Illinois
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:00–15:30
- 13-week contract
- Cath Lab days with call
- Call expectation: 2–3 days per week, with rotating weekend call
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience: 1 year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 references
- Current resume covering the last 7 years of employment
- Employment gaps longer than 30 days must be explained
- Skills checklist for the traveler’s unit and any units they may float to
- Work history verification covering 7 years of employment
- Background check
- Drug screen: negative 9-panel within 30 days of start
- Physical exam within 1 year and updated annually
- Fit mask within 1 year of start
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 2 business days of signing contract
- Negative TB or chest X-ray within 2 business days of signing contract
- Rubeola (Measles) documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
- Mumps documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
- Rubella documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
- Hepatitis B documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
- Varicella documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
- Illinois fingerprinting / IDPH registry requirement if the role does not require an Illinois state license
- Facility orientation modules before clearance/start
Preferred
- ACLS for specific RN/unit positions
- PALS for specific RN/unit positions
- NIH Stroke Certification as applicable
