Cath Lab RN

Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Orangeburg, South Carolina
  • Day shift: 4x10 hours, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • Cath Lab team includes 3 full-time nurses, 4 pre/post procedure bays staffed by 2 RNs, and 1 procedure room
  • Occasional weekend STEMI coverage; travelers are expected to participate in STEMI call when scheduled during those coverage periods
  • On-call required Monday through Saturday for post-PCI callback needs
  • Does not float between service lines or to sister facilities
  • 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Radiation badge must be provided by the agency

Preferred

  • First-timers accepted
  • Epic charting familiarity

Additional Notes

  • Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius
  • Block scheduling requires manager approval
  • Scrubs are provided

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
