Description
Scrub Tech
Overview
- Contract role in Salida, Colorado.
- 40 hours per week, scheduled as 4 x 10-hour shifts.
- Includes equitable call, which may include holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Certified Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
- Certified Surgical Technologist (3 years of experience)
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS
- CST or NBSTSA
- Orthopedic Technologist experience
Role Details
- Assists surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
- Collaborates with the surgical team for patient care.
- Demonstrates clinical competence in surgical technical skills, Sterile Processing, Endoscopy, and Materials Management Departments.
- Maintains sterile technique and communicates any breaks in technique to the circulating RN and surgeons.
- Ensures all necessary equipment is in the room before the case starts.
- Demonstrates competency operating electro-surgical, diagnostic, video, disposable, and specialty-specific equipment.
