Med Neuro ICU

Overview

  • Travel/Contract RN role in Pinehurst, North Carolina
  • 13-week assignment
  • Night shift: 7p-7a, 3x12 hours
  • ASAP start
  • 1 opening
  • Floating to intermediate step down/medical floors is required
  • Unit cannot accommodate more than 7 days of RTO

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in an Acute Care setting
  • Med Surg experience
  • PALS certification
  • Two clinical references, with one from a supervisor or higher
  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Background check
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM
  • HHS/OIG
  • Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
  • NURSYS verification
  • Color Blind Testing Online
  • Competency Exam
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam
  • Physical Exam
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
  • TB Questionnaire, if history of past positive TB
  • Rubeola (Measles)

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
