Overview

Contract role in Machias, Maine
Nights
OB unit role caring for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate
STABLE
AWHONN
C-EFM
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Post Partum experience

Responsibilities

Provides holistic, individualized nursing care using the nursing process
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates assigned patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse
Performs general and unit-specific clinical skills
Manages supplies and equipment
Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel in the unit and other hospital departments
Adheres to standards of nursing practice and hospital policies
Maintains confidentiality and supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
