Special Procedures Radiology Tech

Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Charleston, South Carolina
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required with a flexible schedule, roughly 8 calls per month
• Holiday call may be required
• 13-week contract
• No scrubbing needed
• First-timers not preferred
• Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis if within 60 miles

Unit / Setting

• High-acuity hybrid OR environment
• Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital
• 820 staffed beds

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in South Carolina
• Interventional Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Hybrid OR experience
• Extensive endovascular experience including FEVAR/PMEG, EVAR, TEVAR, AAA/TAA, angiograms, declots, lysis, stenting, embolization, and TAVRs
• Greater than 1 year of Zeego and Pheno experience
• Experience with Penumbra, AngioJet, Shockwave, IVUS, Jet Stream, and Medrad equipment
• Knowledge of Hybrid Siemens advanced vascular features and troubleshooting (Pheno/Zeego)
• Knowledge of Siemens Portable C-Arm functions including digital subtraction, road mapping, and measurements
• Experience with Epic

Additional Notes

• Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval, depending on unit needs
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Parking requires a $20 registration fee for a hang tag; additional parking fees may apply outside the garage
• Hurricane season assignments may include emergency response team duties from June through November
