Job Overview

  • Location: Seattle, Washington

  • Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
  • Weekly hours: 36
  • Patient ratio: 1:4–5

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Washington
  • Float (2 years of experience)
  • Float experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NIHSS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
  • Experience with peripheral nerve catheters
  • Orthopedics experience
  • Stroke experience
  • Experience with Epic

Schedule Expectations

  • Every other weekend required
  • Must work all scheduled shifts
  • Cannot accommodate block scheduling
  • Will float within scope to meet facility needs

Additional Notes

  • First-time travelers are not accepted
  • Locals are accepted
  • No on-call requirement
  • Holiday coverage includes working 2 holidays; no Christmas RTO
  • Experience with ortho/neuro-stroke and cardiac telemetry is required
  • Orientation includes pass/fail testing
  • Epic is used for charting
  • Parking is available at additional cost

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
