MS/Tele Float

Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN assignment in Seattle, Washington
• 13 weeks
• Night shift: 3x12s, 19:00-07:30
• 36 hours per week
• Ratios: 1:4-5
• Float pool assignment; may float within scope to meet facility needs
• Acute care float pool goes to all acute care and telemetry units, including Behavioral Health and Respite

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Float experience with 2 years of experience
• Float experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Orthopedics experience
• Stroke experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred

• Manager prefers to avoid travel pairs

Additional Notes

• Holiday RTO restriction: travelers can have 1 of 3 major holidays off and must work 2 holidays (eve/day); no Christmas RTO
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
• Locals are accepted
• On-call is not required
• Facility cannot accommodate scheduling requests outside approved RTO
• Split 12-hour shifts into 8 hours in one area and 4 hours in another area; good time management is needed
• High volume of ortho floors with peripheral nerve catheters
• Experience with Ortho/Neuro-Stroke and Cardiac Tele is required
