MS/Tele Float

Overview

• Travel/contract RN assignment in Seattle, Washington
• 15 weeks
• Night shift: 3x12s, 19:00–07:30
• Ratio: 1:4–5
• Unit scope includes the acute care float pool and telemetry units, including Behavioral Health and Respite
• Float scope: may float within scope to meet facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of float experience
• Float experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Orthopedics experience
• Stroke experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred

• Facility prefers to avoid travel pairs

Additional Notes

• Epic charting
• Locals are accepted
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
• On-site parking is available for a fee
• Any solid color scrubs are allowed; light blue scrubs are also provided on unit
• Orientation includes a pass/fail fill-in-the-blank test
• The role requires good time management because the 12-hour shift may be split into 8 hours in one area and 4 hours in another
• Experience with Ortho/Neuro-Stroke and Cardiac Tele is required
