Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Everett, Washington
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates are not accepted

Schedule and unit expectations

• Weekends are required
• Floating is required to postpartum
• Call is not required
• The clinician may be called off for 1 twelve-hour shift per 2-week period
• Unit is high-risk perinatal care with Level III labor and delivery services

Required qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
• NRP
• AWHONN
• EFM
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Post Partum experience

Preferred experience

• Experience in facilities handling 200+ deliveries is ideal
• Candidates with experience in facilities handling 100–200 deliveries may also be considered

Work setting

• Level II trauma center
• 19 labor and delivery beds
• 10 antepartum beds
• 30 postpartum beds
• 3 ORs
• 2 PACU bays
• 7-bay triage

• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: any color except reddish orange
• Parking is facility-paid
