Description

PT Home Health

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Home Health Physical Therapist.
13-week contract.
40 hours per week.
6 to 7 weighted visits per day.
Weekend coverage for Ortho cases only, every 4th or 5th weekend.
Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate.

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia
Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
Physical Therapist experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

Home Health experience preferred.
MatrixCare or Epic experience preferred.
Open to first-time travelers.

Additional Notes

The role involves planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments, providing education to patients and caregivers, participating in discharge planning, completing documentation, and directing patient participation in selected tasks.

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
