Description
Fetal Monitoring
Role
Travel Fetal Monitoring assignment for a Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasonographer.
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS registered with OB/GYN credential
- Prior travel is required
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Large, teaching hospital experience required
- Experience in OB/GYN to include:
- fetal anatomy scans (routine and detailed)
- follow-up OB
- BPP
- UMB and MCA dopplers
- 1st trimester
- pelvic
- sonohystogram
- HyCoSy
- EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
- VT license at time of submission
Schedule
- 8H Day shift
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Sunday
- No block schedules
- Weekends as needed
Assignment Details
- Start within the next week
- Up to 8 patients per day
- If scanning twins, each twin counts as a separate scan
- Bi-weekly orientations on Monday
- No time off will be approved for CRU needs
Facility Context
- Large trauma 1 facility with 579 beds and 2 sites on campus
Additional Notes
- No breast experience required
- If not efficient in MFM scanning, candidates who only want to scan in GYN/early dating OB scans may be accepted
- Public transportation is not accessible; reliable transportation is strongly recommended
- Personal vehicle or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
- All-season or snow tires are recommended from November through April
