X-Ray Tech
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Huntington, West Virginia
- Night shift: Fri-Sun, 19:00-07:00
- 36 hours per week
- Starts available 3 weeks from acceptance
- Will work in OR only
- Must be very skilled in OR and trauma experience
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in West Virginia
- Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Operating Room (OR) experience
- Trauma experience
- ACLS, AHA only
- PALS, AHA only
- NRP
- TNCC
- State License 1 verification required
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs
- NIH Stroke Certification required for all RNs and LPN/LVNs
- Competency Exam
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, as applicable
- Proof of 2 clinical references
- Government issued photo ID
- Background check within 30 days of start
- 7-year criminal background check within a year of start, with all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask onsite fit testing
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years of start
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 6 months of start
- Hepatitis B surface antibody and antigen titer within 6 months of start, along with vaccination series or declination documentation
- Hepatitis A total antibody within 6 months
- Hepatitis C antibody within 6 months
- Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella positive titers or 2 vaccines
- Drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
- COVID seasonal vaccine or facility declination form
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
- Facility-specific forms and onboarding documents must be completed before start
