Labor and Delivery

Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Shakopee, Minnesota
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit has 17 rooms/beds
Average daily census: 3 labors, 3–4 postpartum, 1–2 Level 2 babies

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Minnesota
Labor and Delivery experience with 2 years of experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
IV Start capability
Post Partum experience
Nursery experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure

Preferred Qualifications

Triage

Additional Notes

3x12 or 4x12 shifts are available
A criminal background check is required within 1 year of start date
EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG are required within 1 year of start
Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
Tdap is required for all candidates
Negative TB or chest X-ray is required
Respiratory safety clearance is required prior to start
Drug testing is not required for client clearance
References are not required for client clearance and will not delay the start date

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
