Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
Overview

- Patient ratio: 1:4-6
- EMR: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in Charge roles
- Driver's License
- Pulmonary patient care experience
- Pulmonology experience
Preferred
- Experience caring for Pulmonary/Ventilated patients on bi-pap and trach care
- Level I trauma experience
Additional Details
- May care for COVID+ patients
- Will accept first-time travelers if the 2+ year Med Surg experience requirement is met
- Required to float across all campuses
- Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
