PT Outpatient

Role Overview

• Travel/contract PT role in Plains, Montana.
• Based in a Critical Access Hospital with outpatient, inpatient, home visits, and a swing bed program in a rural community.
• The PT will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence.
• Works collaboratively across acute, outpatient, and/or long-term care settings.

Schedule

• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 8:00–18:30.
• Availability for 4x10 or 5x8 shifts.
• Hours may vary from 34–40 per week depending on census or case load.
• Weekend requirement: every 3rd weekend.
• On-call is not required.
• Block scheduling may be accommodated.
• Local candidates are accepted.
• No RTO restrictions stated.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Montana.
• Physical Therapist with 1 year of experience.
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• 7-year background check.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening.
• HHS/OIG screening.
• ACLS.
• PALS.
• NRP.
• National tech certification, as applicable.
• State license verification.
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable.
• Competency exam, as applicable.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• N95 fit test within 12 months of start; PAPR can be accommodated onsite if needed.
• Tdap within 10 years of start.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray, with annual TB testing required.
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation as specified by the source.
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start.
• Flu vaccine or declination during flu season.
• Skills checklist annually.
