Medical Surgical
Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Bowling Green, Kentucky
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
- Hours per week: 36
- Every other weekend
- Can do block scheduling
- May be placed on call once every pay period
- RTO may be granted if the traveler can still work three days per week
- 65-mile radius restriction
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- Med Surg (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Flu vaccination required; no exemptions allowed
- Valid Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport required
- Background check required before start
- Kentucky - KY Vulnerable Adult Maltreatment Registry required for all candidates
- E-Verify attestation required
- EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 30 days of start and for each renewal/extension
- HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start and for each renewal/extension
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement required
- NURSYS verification required as applicable
- State License 1 verification required as applicable
- Physical exam required within 1 year
- Fit test required within 1 year and updated annually
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray required within 60 days of start
- Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Drug Testing, Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation, COVID, References, Performance Evaluation, Employment Application, Skills Checklist 1, Work History Verification, Application – Missing Information Tracking required
- Photo for badge required prior to start
- Commonwealth forms and onboarding documents required, including job description review/signature, health history, communicable disease, latex allergy, privacy acknowledgement, patient registration, TB questionnaire, Hep B form, facility background release, computer agreement, confidentiality agreement, NEO checklist, employment acknowledgement, Kentucky law review, and CBL training modules 1–8
