Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Seattle, Washington
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• Level III or IV NICU with 77 beds and average census of 50

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Open to floating to different campuses
• Active compact license honored by Swedish facilities
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• NRP
• NURSYS verification required for all RNs
• WA - Multi State Licensed Nurses - Demographic Attestation, if working in Washington with an out-of-state compact license
• WA - Multi State Licensed Nurses - Suicide Prevention Training, if working in Washington with an out-of-state compact license

Clinical Experience / Skills

• 23–24 weeks gestation
• No ECMO
• CPAP/BiPap
• High Frequency Vents
• Oscillators
• Vents
• Blood/Blood Products Administration
• Cardioversion / Defibrillation
• Cooling / Warming Blanket
• Feeding Tubes
• PICC/Central Lines
• Syringe Pumps
• Attends high-risk deliveries
• Neonatal surgeries

Float Scope

• Rarely floats due to high NICU need
• May float to Issaquah or Edmonds SCN
• May float to Pediatrics/NBN for newborns only
• If floated to Pediatrics, only infants are assigned

Additional Notes

• Previous permanent employees of any Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for at least 3 months to qualify
• Block scheduling is approved if preferred, with the option to work 3 or more shifts in a row
