Neuro ICU
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Dayton, Ohio
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 48 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Neuro ICU (2 years of experience)
- Neuro ICU experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Stroke experience
- Experience with Epic
Unit Details
- Fast-paced ICU treating neurological diseases and disorders, seizures, and strokes
- Comprehensive stroke center
- Also treats overflow ICU patients from Medical Surgical ICU and Heart and Vascular ICU
Floating
- First to float at discretion
- May float in and out of the specialty cluster
- If assigned to MVH, floating may include Main Campus (Dayton), South Campus (Centerville), and North Campus (Englewood)
Scheduling Notes
- Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday
- RTO must be requested with initial submittal; no RTO added after offer
- RTO approval is at manager discretion
