CVOR Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Winston Salem, North Carolina
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Call requirement: 10 days per month, including one weekend per month
- Unit has 3 rooms and serves adults and geriatrics
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- CVOR (2 years of experience)
- CVOR experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Circulate experience
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR
- Scrub experience
Unit Details
- CVOR unit
- Procedures and cases include Aortic Valves, Mitral Valves, ASD, Redo Surgeries, Esophagogastrectomy, CABG with and without valve repair/replace, VATS, Thoracotomy, Mediastinoscopy, Mitral Clip, TAVR, Ascending Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Groin Exploration, Port a Cath Placement, Robotic Thoracic Surgery, Carotid Endarterectomy, IABP insertion and removal, Myxoma Removal, Pneumonectomy, Chamberlin Procedure, Tracheostomy, and VSD
Additional Notes
- RTO after booking is not allowed
- Scrubs are provided
- Orientation is 36 hours
