ICU Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Bristol, Tennessee
- 13-week contract
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30–19:00
- 36 hours per week
- No call
- Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule period
- Must live 100 miles from the facility
- 16 hours of nonbillable orientation
- First-time travelers accepted
Unit / Float Scope
- Must be comfortable floating to PCU and MS
- MS ratios are 1:7
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Med Surg experience
Preferred
- 3 references preferred
Schedule / Staffing Notes
- 36/36, 36/48, and 48/48 schedules available
- One shift may be canceled or called off biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
- Additional shifts above the work commitment may be flexed as needed for census/resource needs without penalty
Additional Notes
- General orientation begins on Sundays
- Clinical nursing student support and education are expected alongside clinical care
