Cath Lab Tech

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Snellville, Georgia
• Adults to geriatrics patient population
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
• 40 hours per week
• 16-week contract
• 3 rooms, 5 beds, average daily census of 8–10
• Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

• Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• RCIS or RCES or ARRT (CV)
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Sinus node rhythm recognition and management
• Pacemaker experience
• GE Discovery equipment experience
• IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) experience
• Impella device experience
• CSI (Catheterization Systems Inc.) equipment experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred

• Pacemakers
• Merge

Unit / Work Setting

• No EP studies
• No ablations
• Floating within the department and facility, with possible float to a sister campus
• Call required: 12–15 days per month, including 2 weekends
• Late stay as needed
• Every other weekend unless otherwise specified

Compliance / Start Requirements

• Full compliance required to start on time
• Background check must be complete before start
• Photo ID required
• Education verification required
• Physical exam required by Aya
• TB questionnaire required for all candidates
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required
• Drug screen required
• Flu vaccine or declination required
• 2 clinical references required by Aya
• Skills checklist required within 12 months and updated annually
• Work history verification required
• Color blind testing required
• Candidate must review and sign code of conduct before start
• Candidate must review dress and professional appearance policy before start

• Scrubs provided by the facility
• RTO maximum: 7 days
• Non-billable orientation hours depend on contract length
