RN Cath Lab
Overview
- Location: Round Rock, Texas
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 06:30–17:00
- Shift pattern: 4 ten-hour shifts
- Call: 7–10 days per month
- Flexibility: Must be flexible
Role Summary
Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Resume
- At least 2 professional references

Responsibilities
- Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures
- Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary
- Prepare, implement, and document plan of care
- Communicate patient condition to physician before, during, and after procedures
- Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures
- Set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures
