School Psychologist

Overview

  • Travel/Contract assignment in Thornton, Colorado
  • 35-week contract
  • Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Fully in person; no remote or hybrid options

Role Details

  • Child Find Evaluation Team at North Star Elementary
  • Conduct Child Find evaluations at North Star Elementary
  • Two psychologist positions are open
  • Bilingual Child Find Evaluation Team at district level
  • Conduct bilingual child find evaluations at multiple locations, including North Star Elementary and Centennial Elementary, with possible district-level evaluations

Required Qualifications

  • Valid School Services (School Psychologist (Certified)) license in Colorado
  • School Psychologist (Certified) (1 year of experience)
  • School Psychologist (Certified) experience within the last year
  • Mandatory Reporter training
  • Colorado - CAPS Release Authorization
  • Colorado - VECHS Waiver
  • Colorado - CBI/FBI Fingerprint Results
  • Colorado - CBI/FBI Fingerprint Result Client Attestation
  • Official transcripts for position-related degrees

Preferred

  • Bilingual psychologist
  • Bilingual Early Childhood Special Education teacher
  • CO SLP license is preferred only for SLPs; not applicable to this role

Facility / Assignment Notes

  • Based at North Star Elementary School
  • May include district-level evaluation locations

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
