Labor and Delivery RN
Location
- Portland, Oregon
Assignment Details
- Travel/Contract role
- 16-week contract
- 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Evening or night schedule
- Float between units as needed
- On-call required on days scheduled if cancelled
- Every other weekend required
- Expected ratio: 1:1
- 1st timer assignment
Unit / Clinical Setting
- Labor and Delivery
- Special requirements include High Risk OB
- May float to MBU and PSCU
- Shift start times may be 3:00 am, 3:00 pm, 11:00 am, or 11:00 pm
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- NURSYS verification required
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP
- EFM
- IV Certification
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- NIH Stroke Certification
- CPI
- Competency Exam
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Skills Checklist 1
- Employment Application with at least the last 5 years of employment
- References: minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
