PACU RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Minneapolis, Minnesota
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Day shifts: 3x12s, 9:00–21:30 or 11:00–23:30
- First-timers accepted
- Local candidates are not accepted within a 100-mile radius
- Pending license accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Minimum 3 years of ED experience
- Experience with ventilators
- Ability to care for hemodynamically unstable patients in phase I recovery
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Schedule / Work Expectations
- Will work weekends as needed by department needs
- No on-call requirement
- Cannot accommodate a block schedule
Float Scope
- May float to Pre-op, PACU, Phase II, and Helping Hands in the hospital

- Ratios: Days 1:2, Nights 1:2
- RTO restriction: 5 days
- Unit is PACU
- Facility is a short term acute care hospital with 672 staffed beds
