RRT
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Fayetteville, North Carolina
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:00–6:00
- 13-week contract
- Short-term acute care facility
- Level III Trauma Center / Teaching Hospital
- 733 staffed beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in North Carolina
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Military Training Network
Preferred Qualifications
- None stated
Scheduling and Float
- Every other weekend required
- Float as needed within scope to like units
- No on-call
- Block scheduling not accepted
- No holiday RTO accepted
- Up to 4 days of RTO allowed
- Locals not accepted within a 50-mile radius of the main campus
Certifications and Compliance
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NIH Stroke Certification
- National tech certification verification
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication)
- Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam
- Flu vaccine or approved exemption required during flu season
- TB screening
- Physical exam
- Tdap within the last 10 years
- Negative TB or chest X-ray
- Hepatitis B documentation
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Drug testing required within 30 days
- COVID vaccination not required

- Return-to-travel policy requires 1 year away before returning as a traveler
- Maximum of 2 contracts, with only 1 extension allowed, then 6 months away before returning
