Registered Respiratory Therapist

Overview

Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Unit: Respiratory
Schedule: 36 hours, Days/Eves rotate, every other weekend
Shift rotation: Day position may rotate to 11a–11p when needed; night position is straight nights
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts
Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
1 to 2 years of total travel experience
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy
Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
Ability to draw arterial blood gases

Day shift staffing includes 1 charge, 2 assigned to a 20-bed ICU, and 2 assigned to Med/Surg floors
Equipment used includes PB980 Ventilator and Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilator

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
