Mother Baby Unit RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Portland, Oregon
- Day shift: 3x12 hours
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Floating: possible if the clinician has labor skills
- On call: no
Department
- Mother Baby Unit provides postpartum, antepartum, and gynecological care to a high-risk population
- Provides well newborn care as part of rooming-in service
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post Partum (1 year of experience)
- Post Partum experience within the last year
- Antepartum experience
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Maternal Newborn Certification
- Inpatient Onstetric Certification
- International Board of Certified Lactation Consultation (IBCLC)
Additional Notes
- State-mandated ratios: 1:3 stable normal couplets; 1:2 for couplets with complications such as late preterm or mom on Mag
