Cath Lab Tech
Overview
- Travel/contract assignment in Cape Girardeau, Missouri
- 13-week contract
- Day shift, 4x10 hours
- Scheduled 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed 80 paid hours per pay period
Role Details
- Vascular Hybrid Room Cath Lab/IR/special procedure Tech
- Works every Wednesday and Thursday
- Rotating schedule of 7 days on call followed by 7 days off call
- One weekend of call coverage during each call period
- Call coverage begins at 4:30 PM
- Experience with AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm) endovascular cases
- Comfortable working in a hybrid OR environment
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist with 1 year of experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- Permanent license in hand at submission; temporary licenses are not accepted
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP
- Tech Cert Verification - National within 30 days of start
- State License 1 Verification within 30 days of start
- NURSYS verification within 30 days of start
- Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing
- Background check and required state/federal screenings
- 2 professional references
- Employment application
- Annual skills checklist
- Photo for badge
- Influenza verification form
- E-learning completion and transcript
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test within 12 months of start
- Negative TB screening or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire
- Rubeola, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption documentation
- Missouri state mandated EDL search results within 60 days of start
- Competency exam
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
- Color blind testing
