Ultrasound Tech - General
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Shenandoah, Iowa
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- February start
- No weekends unless part of the schedule
- No call
- No float
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ARDMS
- Experience with Allscripts
Preferred
- OB/GYN preferred
Additional Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years, including all aliases
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
- Copy of state license, if hard copy available
- State license verification online within 30 days of start, including expiration date and disciplinary action
- Iowa Mandatory Reporter training required before start
- Review and sign code of conduct
- Review and sign confidentiality and access to information agreement
- Review and sign parking policy
- Review and sign COVID-19 employee health attestation
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Tdap within the last 10 years, with medical exemption only
- TB screening within 12 months of start
- TB questionnaire required and updated annually
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
- Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination required
- 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccine or declination required during flu season
- Latex allergy screening required
