RRT
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Newark, New York
- 13-week contract
- Day shift: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, 3x12 hours
- Every other weekend required, with 6 weekend shifts per 13-week contract
- Floating required from long term care to acute care as needed, including Clifton Springs and Newark Wayne Hospital
- Unit accepts first-time travelers
- A personal car is required for Eastern Region contracts
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New York
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Driver's License
- Experience with Epic

- Patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, Pneumonia, Respiratory Failure, and Respiratory Infections
- Special procedures/unit details include ABG Sampling, Ventilator Mgmt., Patient Assessment Skills, Med Administration, and Pulmonary Hygiene
- Special equipment includes Hamilton Vent, Servo-U, NKV330, and V60
