Procedural RN/Neuro IR RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Charleston, South Carolina
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• On-call required: every 5th weekend and one night per week
• Must live within 30 minutes while on call
• No floating within scope
• No floating to sister facilities
• First-timers accepted
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
• 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency
• 2 clinical references
• Complete application/resume
• Proof of 3 clinical employers verified through a 3rd party vendor, or fewer if the traveler has fewer than 3 clinical employers
• Last 3 clinical employers must be verifiable through a 3rd party vendor when applicable
• South Carolina - State Exclusion List required
• Agency must supply a radiation badge

Preferred

• Neuro experience
• Critical Care experience

Facility Notes

• Teaching hospital
• Magnet and Level 1 Trauma designation
• 865 staffed beds
• Facility provides scrubs
• Epic charting

Additional Compliance / Pre-Start Items

• Fit test required within 90 days prior to start and annually thereafter
• Tdap required within 10 years of start or declination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required
• Drug screen required within 90 days of start
• Physical exam required and updated annually
• COVID vaccination is not required, but a declination form is needed if not provided
• Flu vaccine or exemption required during flu season
• Color blind testing required prior to start
• Orientation modules must be completed before start
• Photo for badge required before start
• Work history verification required
