Interventional Radiology
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Carmel, Indiana
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Call required: minimum 2 days a week and every 3rd weekend
- First timers not accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Indiana
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT
- Conscious sedation skills
- Experience operating Acist injector, Siemens C-arm, Philips C-arm, Medrad power injector, Rotopro, Diamondback, IVUS, OCT, Shock wave, Rampart, Pneumbra, and Inari equipment
Procedures / Clinical Scope
- Cardiac: LHC, RHC, balloon pumps, temp pacer, perm pacer/defib, pericardial effusion, STEMI call
- IR: venous access, drain placement, GI tube insertion, PE, DVTs, TIPS, PV, fistula work, UFEs, prostate embolization, GI/Post Partum/other internal bleeds
