Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Taos, New Mexico
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• 1:6 patient ratio
• Critical Access Facility with 18 beds
• First-time travelers accepted
• 75+ radius rule applies

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Mexico
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Government-issued photo ID
• E-Verify documentation
• 7-year criminal background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM
• HHS/OIG
• State license verification
• NURSYS verification for RNs
• Core Part I, Core Part II, and Core Part III, each with a passing score of at least 80%
• 2 clinical references
• Complete application/resume with 7-year work history and gaps included
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
• Tdap within the past 10 years
• Drug screen within 90 days of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination
• Fit testing completed on site
• TB questionnaire
• Photo for badge
• Code of conduct acknowledgement
• Acknowledgement of policy/procedures
• Emergency contact information
• Confidentiality agreement
• Photo release
• Behavior standards acknowledgement
• Mandatory education information orientation acknowledgement
• IT guideline acknowledgement

• Orientation attestation confirmation
• COVID declination form if declining COVID vaccination
• Influenza consent form if completing flu vaccine onsite
