Description
Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer
Role Overview
- Travel/contract role in Spokane, Washington.
- Temp-to-perm assignment.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Shift: 5x8 days.
- No weekends, no nights, and no major holidays.
- First-timers accepted.
- On-call not required.
- Floating within scope may be required.
- Scrubs: any color, no print.
Unit / Setting
- High Risk Pregnancy Clinic.
- 6 ultrasound rooms at one medical center and 2 rooms at another hospital.
- Sonographers perform 7–9 detailed ultrasounds daily and report findings to 3 MFM physicians.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience.
- Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience within the last year.
- BLS.
- ARDMS OB/GYN.
- NT.
- Experience in an outpatient setting.
- OB-GYN experience.
- Experience with Epic.
Procedures / Clinical Scope
- Assists with amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS, and PUBS.
- Patients are often high risk due to maternal or fetal conditions, so detailed ultrasound imaging experience is important.
