Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Camden, New Jersey
- Night shift, 3x12 hours: 19:00–7:00
- 13-week contract
- First-time travelers accepted, but not preferred
- Every other weekend required
- 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday required
Unit / Assignment Details
- Based in Labor and Delivery
- Travelers are required to float within 5 hospitals within skillset
- Block scheduling is not allowed
- 1:6 ratio experience is required, and the assignment may be pulled to facilities with higher volumes
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- Labor and Delivery experience with at least 1 year of experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Ability to circulate and scrub for cesarean sections
- Experience with 1:6 patient ratio
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- First-time traveler is not preferred
Additional Notes
- EPIC experience is listed
- Scrubs are provided by the hospital
- RTO must be submitted at time of application; RTO after submission will not be accepted
