Outpatient Chemotherapy/Infusion RN

Overview

Contract role in Sidney, Montana
Day shift, Monday through Friday
32 hours per week
The role is based in the Infusion area of the Cancer Care department

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Montana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of infusion experience
Infusion experience within the last year
Hematology / Oncology experience
Experience with Epic
ONS/ONCC

Role Summary

Provides oncology nursing care for patients receiving chemotherapy infusion
Responsibilities include health history assessment, carrying out physician orders, in-office procedures, patient and family education, chemotherapy administration, cancer symptom management, patient monitoring, communication with patients and physicians, direct nursing care, and triage of patient care needs

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
