Operating Room RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Marion, Indiana
- 13-week agreement
- Day shift: Monday-Friday, 6:35-15:05
- On-call required one day per week
- Start in October
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Operating Room experience
- Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- Background check completed within 30 days of start, including SSN Trace, Counties, National Criminal, and National Sex Offender search
- EPLS/GSA/SAM annually
- HHS/OIG annually
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Respirator fit test within 3 months of start, then annually
- Tdap vaccine or declination
- Negative 2 Step PPD, Qgold, or Tspot within 3 months of start, or clear chest X-ray if previously positive
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity by titer or vaccination, with boosters required if titers are negative/equivocal
- Hepatitis B titer or declination
- Drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Skills checklist annually
Facility Requirements
- IT access form required
- Annual mandatory training required
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Competency exam as applicable to profession/specialty
