Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Columbus, Ohio
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of nursing experience
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• IV start skills
• Experience with Epic
• Ohio State nursing program accreditation verification is required
• State license verification is required
• NURSYS verification is required for RNs
• Unit-specific competency exam required
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required prior to start
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam required within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Emergency Contact Form required
• Background check required within 90 days of start
• Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start
• Pending Background Check Attestation required if fingerprint results are pending
• Employment Application required
• Skills Checklist required
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager/director or formal leader

Float Scope

• May be required to float to another OSU-affiliated hospital; the alternate hospital is approximately a 5–6 minute walk
