RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
Overview
- Travel RN role in Santa Fe, New Mexico
- Full-time assignment
- Shift: 7AM - 5PM
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- On call required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Schedule / On Call
- 1-2 weekends per month
- 8-10 days per month on call
Unit / Role Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab RN responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care for the assigned unit
- Uses EPIC
- Hospital scrubs provided
Responsibilities
- Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments
- Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized plans of care
- Provides patient and family education and discharge planning
- Performs Point of Care testing
- Coordinates team assignments and supports unit workflow
- Participates in orientation of new staff and students
- Supports patient satisfaction, safety, and unit goals
