MICU RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN assignment in New Haven, Connecticut.
- Primarily SDU assignments with occasional ICU coverage if needed.
- May float to PCU, other ICUs, and SRC campus as needed.
- 13-week contract.
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–07:00.
- EOW coverage.
- Call: No.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Connecticut
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- First-time traveler accepted
Unit / Assignment Details
- Average ratio: 1:3 on days, nights, and weekends.
- Charting: Epic.
- Short Term Acute Care facility.
- Level I Trauma Center.
- Total staffed beds: 1,567.
