MS/Tele
Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Dayton, Ohio
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift, 3x12 hours
- Targeted patient ratio: 1:5-6
- Unit: Advanced Care, a 43-bed mixed acuity unit with a concentration on post-general surgery patients and stable cardiac telemetry patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Med Surg / Telemetry (1.5 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with titratable cardiac drips including amiodarone, cardizem, cardene
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- Experience in a level 1 or 2
- Travel experience
Floating
- First to float at the employer’s discretion
- May float in/out of specialty clusters
- May be assigned to a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit/COVID
- If assigned to MVH, may float to main campus (Dayton), south campus (Centerville), and North Campus (Englewood)
Other Notes
- Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed
- Team nursing model may be used
- Navy Blue scrubs
- RTO must be requested with initial submittal; no RTO added after offer
