Description
RN LDRP/OB
Overview
- Contract role in Grants, New Mexico
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour rotating nights
- May involve holidays, weekends, occasional labor call, and overtime
- Must work in both L&D and Post Partum
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- NRP
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- AWHONN
- C-EFM
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Ability to interpret fetal heart rate strips
- Knowledge of sterile technique and sterile field maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- SAFER NM Technician certification
Experience and Skills
- Education and clinical experience for the assigned department
- Skilled in perinatal care, labor support, delivery, and newborn assessment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, culturally competent care across the lifespan
- Ability to work effectively under stress and in a fast-paced environment
Work Setting
- Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP)
- Float to other departments as needed
